Intel
Spatial Audio for Java* Package Known Problems
Beta
1.3.0
The following are known bugs or
deviations from the documented behavior. Unless otherwise
indicated, we intend to correct these in subsequent
releases.
- If the browser abnormally
terminates while Intel Spatial Audio for Java* is
running, the audio device can be left open,
making it inaccessible to subsequent
applications. If this happens, reboot your
system.
- Very occasionally, the software
may crash when using a DirectListener and Microsoft DirectSound*. This
problem was seen only when many DirectListeners were created, exercised, and
destroyed, and is not expected to affect normal
use of the software. You can guard against this
problem by not using DirectSound.
- Creation of a CachedSoundSource from an InputStream may be slow, even if the InputStream refers to a local file.
- Occasionally, audio in an applet
may fail to play when a page is revisited several
times. Try pushing Shift-Reload (or
Shift-Refresh), or restarting the browser.
