The Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL) provides developers of scientific and engineering software with a set of linear algebra and fast Fourier transform functions as a static library for the Windows* NT* operating system. The MKL is highly optimized software taking advantage of both Pentium® and Pentium Pro processors' architecture. Version 2.0 of the library provides the best performance if used with the Pentium® Pro processor. The library supports Intel Reference FORTRAN, Microsoft* PowerStation FORTRAN, and Watcom* FORTRAN compilers.
