The time to design with USB is now!
Microsoft's OEM software release of the Windows* 95 operating system supports USB.
Numerous product developers are taking advantage of it now.
Fully USB-enabled PCs are now shipping from virtually all system suppliers including AST,
Compaq, Gateway 2000, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Sony, Toshiba, and Packard-Bell.
USB adds functionality, value and ease of use, without adding to system cost.
Hundreds of peripheral products based on the Intel 8x930 USB compliant controller are
now under development.
The USB Implementers Forum has grown to more than 400 companies.
USB peripheral products have been developed ranging from programmable digital joysticks
to advanced digital audio speakers, keyboards, telephony equipment and monitors.
