Intel's Audio '98 Roadmap defines Intel's vision for the future of PC audio
hardware. It specifies high performance, built-in consumer quality analog
(AC '97) support along with complementary "Digital Ready" output capability
for external USB and IEEE 1394 peripherals and consumer equipment.
