Description Indeo® Video Interactive (IVI) is Intel's software digital video compression and decompression technology which enables high-quality, scalable, software-only playback on Pentium® processor-based PCs. IVI's support of Microsoft*'s Video for Windows* and ActiveMovie* standards allows content to be created using popular editing tools such as Adobe* Premiere and Asymetrix* Digital Video Producer. The Intel Smart Video Recorder III video capture board allows developers to create IVI content quickly and easily using realtime capture and compression. IVI also enables interactive video features such as: transparency (live "blue screen" compositing); realtime control over brightness, contrast, and saturation; and "access key" password protection of video clips. IVI content can be incorporated into interactive multimedia applications using popular authoring tools such as Macromedia* Director*.
