PP-Parallel-Programming-Handler

The SMS PP-Parallel-Handler is an automatic handling system which places and programs devices in universal programming stations. With the PP Parallel-Handler, up to 5000 different programmable devices in various packages can be programmed and/or tested. After the programming, the devices are marked and sorted.
The SMS PP-Parallel-Handler consists of a precise adjusted system with a handler chassis including servomotors and a con-trolling computer, programming units with programming sockets and PCs, as well as a marking unit and further input and out-put options. Optical systems for centering and lead inspection are available to increase levels of quality assurance.
The input and output options are flexible to meet your needs and can handle large quantities of JEDEC trays, tapes and tubes. The standard version with one gantry and one pickup head with two vacuum suction cups can program, mark and sort up to 600 devices per hour.
The SMS PP-Parallel-Handler has enlargement and upgrading possibilities from 8 to 16 or even 24 programming stations. This results in constant high throughputs independent of the programming time of the devices. Each of the programming stations is controlled independently by its own PC to start programming immediately after inserting the device. That is why higher throughputs and best device supports are also achieved.
*With customized options, a throughput of more than 1100 devices is achievable.
