The SPRINT OPTIMA provides programming and vector testing for virtually any programmable device, supporting thousands of Micros, Memories and PLDs, up to and beyond 84 pins; a powerful universal programmer that fits the palm of your hand. Several flexible TOPs giving you the freedom and flexibility of a real universal programmer.
Full custom ASIC pin drivers were developed enabling the programming and testing of new high-speed CMOS devices. A compact design is achieved because of these analog/digital ASICs, allowing pin drivers and VCC and GND relays to be as close to device pins as possible. This technology virtually eliminates ground bounce, greatly improving programming yields.
As a peripheral to your PC, the SPRINT OPTIMA utilizes the RAM, CPU and disk drives in the computer you already own. Simply connect the SPRINT OPTI-MA to any parallel port, start the software and program. A key advantage to this approach is that you get high performance programming electronics that operate within your design environment.
With the optional Power Pack, combine the OPTIMA with your favorite Notebook and you have a portable programmer that is ready to go anywhere.
