Ashling's Ultra-8051 Microprocessor Development System provides a complete hardware and software development environment for embedded designs using Intel's MCS(R) 51 microcontroller. The Ultra-8051 In-Circuit Emulator and "PathFinder" source-level debugger offer a uniform Windows*-hosted environment for hardware debugging, C code integration, source-level debugging and Software Performance Analysis.
In-Circuit Emulator:
The Ultra-8051 Emulator provides real-time emulation in Single-chip and Expanded modes, at target voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V. Probes are available for all Intel 8051 derivatives and packages.
Windows Source-Level Debugging:
Ashling's PathFinder for Windows source-level debugger for C and Assembler supports all popular Compilers and Assemblers for the Intel MCS 51microcontroller family. PathFinder's display-windows show the 8051's on-chip RAM, External Data memory, Disassembled Code Memory, Special Function Registers, Stack, Variables, Source-Code, Traced Executed Source-Code, Traced Port Activity and Code Coverage windows. Assembly-language Source Level Debugging is supported.
System Execution Analyser:
The System Execution Analyzer (SEA) is a built-in option for Ashling's 8051 Microprocessor Development System. It provides real-time, non-intrusive, non-statistical Performance Analysis, Code Coverage and Report Generation, symbolic function-trace, time-stamping and timing analysis.
Code Coverage System:
The Code Test Management System (CTMS) option for Ashling's Ultra-8051 System measures 8051 code execution in real-time. It maps tested and untested code; identifies all tested, partially-tested or untested C source statements and assembler instructions; generates formal, annotated test reports; identifies redundant code; and measures test completeness.
