Intels SmartVoltage flash technology provides both low-voltage and high performance. This datasheet contains the specifications for Intels 8-Mbit boot block flash memory family. The 8-Mbit family has two branches of products. One branch allows reads with Vcc at 3.3 ± 0.3V or 5V, while the other allows reads with Vcc at 2.7-3.6V or 5V. All products provide program/erase capability at 5V or 12V. These products also offer X8 and X8/X16 operation for CPU flexibility, a hardware-lockable block to ensure security for critical code storage, and high-performance read access speed at low-voltage.
