This application note describes compatibility between 12V VPP 2-Mbit and 4-Mbit boot block flash memories (BX/BL) manufactured on Intels 0.8 ETOX III process and the complete 2-, 4- and 8-Mbit family of SmartVoltage boot block flash memories (BV) manufactured on Intels 0.6 ETOX IV process.
