Today's electronic components require a handling environment sensitive to lead and package damage, ESD damage, and electrical contact issues. Exatron addresses each of these issues with great attention backed by years of experience.
Exatron offers several levels of systems and various configurations that allow you to select the handler that matches your application:
The 5000 Series meets heavy-duty production handling requirements with laser marking and elevated temperature chamber options. The 5000 can handle SIMMs, DIMMs and any electronic component in tubes. Available with one or more test sites, 5000's are ideal for applications with multiple test and elevated temperature requirements.
The 3000B Series covers medium and low volume SMD and through-hole device handling applications. In-line labeling is also available. The 3000B is designed for applications where throughput is important in automatic device programming applications.
The 2000B Series handlers are designed for mid and low volume applications. It is ideal for the down-graded DRAM market, single application customers, startups and other applications where the budget is primary.
The PET 2 Automated Socket is ideal for fine pitch QFP devices, low volume, engineering applications, startups or other applications where traditional handling techniques are inappropriate or impractical. The PET 2 is perfect for characterization of devices and interfaces, programming and testing of surface mount devices.
