AP-620 LFS File Manager Software: LFM

This application note contains design information for a Network Router currently in production, that uses Intel Flash RFA based on Intel Flash components (for storage of system executables, configuration data files, run-time data and control files), a Boot Block (to house system initialization files and Operational Software) and LFM (Linear File Store - LFS File Manager) software. This application document offers an in-depth look at the workings of LFM. Concepts behind customizing the LFM reference code as well as how an actual design was accomplished using the Intel provide LFM reference code are discussed.
