AP-374 Flash Memory Write Protection Techniques

Flash memory's combination of nonvolatility and easy in-system updateability are key attributes driving its adoption into today's system designs. However, this flexibility also brings with it the responsibility (for hardware and software engineers) to ensure that writes to flash memory occur only when intended.
