The 8450 Integrated Scale/Printer is used in grocery and other retail stores to weigh items, calculate pricing and print product labels. The scale includes a tactile keyboard, a display for vendors and customers and an integrated thermal label printer for such information as bar codes, FDA nutritional information, safe handling instructions and other voluntary nutrition data. The 8450 Scale/Printer can be either used as a stand-alone product or in a network of other Mettler Toledo scales. The networking option provides consistent pricing and data integrity across a store site.
