Cisco Systems, Inc., Intel Corporation and Microsoft Corporation have jointly agreed to each provide a suite of network multimedia enabling toolkits that will be made available to program participants. The targeted toolkits are intended for Independent Software Vendors (ISV), Internet Service Providers (ISP) and Corporate Information Technology (IT) staff who are interested in creating state-of-the-art network multimedia solutions. During the early stages of this program over 20 leading-edge Internet technology companies have expressed a strong interest in using the toolkits. The participating companies look to provide solutions in the areas of desktop conferencing, distance learning and information broadcasting.
