These instructions must be followed with the Windows 3.x drivers for the Yamaha audio component.

Two files must be downloaded from the Intel Web/FTP site

	W31_109A.EXE
	W31_109B.EXE

These are self-extracting files that must be unzipped to floppy diskettes with the proper volume labels.

The example below uses A: as the floppy drive. If the floppy drive has a letter other than A: use that letter.

Preparing the Diskettes

1. Format two diskettes
2. Insert Disk 1 in floppy drive
3. From the DOS Prompt, type LABEL A: SA31INST and press
4. When the operation is completed (drive light goes out), insert Disk 2
5. From the DOS Prompt, type LABEL A: SA31DRV and press

Extracting the Files

1. Change to the directory where the files have been saved
2. Insert Disk 1 into the floppy drive
3. Type W31_109A.EXE
4. Type SW A:
5. After acknowledging the software license agreement, the files will be extracted to the floppy
6. Insert Disk 2
7. Type W31_109B.EXE A: to extract the files to the floppy

Installing the Drivers

1. Insert Disk 1
2. Type A:INSTALL
3. Proceed to answer installation options/questions
4. Insert Disk 2 when prompted by the installation utility
5. Proceed until the "Installation complete" message is displayed
