Emulation Technology offers a full line of development adapters and accessories for the Intel 8051, 80251, and 80196 micro-controller families. These development tools provide you with an interface between your Intel device and your logic analyzer, oscilloscope, or emulator, supporting you at every stage of the design process.
Emulator Tools:
Adapt-A-Pod* emulator adapters solder on in place of the Intel MCU and Adapt-A- Clip* emulator adapters attach to the sides of a soldered-on Intel MCU and provide your emulator or other test equipment with alternate female footprints.
Logic Analyzer/Scope Adapters:
Bug Katchers extend the leads and label the signals of your IC so itÆs easy to attach test leads to it. These adapters fit between your Intel MCU and its socket or surface-mount pads, and accept test leads from logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Logic Analyzer Preprocessors:
Our passive preprocessors provide a complete interface between the Intel MCU in your target system and your HP logic analyzer, eliminating the time-consuming task of individually connecting each logic analyzer channel to your IC under test.
PQFP Test Clips:
The ET PQFP Clip* allows for hands-free testing of surface-mounted PQFP devices. It provides hardware connection for testing, logic analysis, and emulation.
Custom Adapters:
Full customer adapters can be designed to convert any of a variety of SMT packages and components to PGA and similar through-hole footprints. Such SMT pack-ages include TAB devices, QFPs, PLCCs, LCCs, chip capacitors and resistors, or combinations of such packages. For testing applications, custom adapters provide a reliable mechanism for interfacing fine-pitch SMT packages to standard PGA test and burn-in sockets. For production applications, custom adapters take advantage of the cost and availability of SMT packages to allow the addition or deletion of system functions without the need to change the main PCB design.
Debugging Accessories:
ET offers a large line of grabbers, handling tools, test probes, insertion/extraction tools, emulator probe rotators, and cost reduction adapters.
