FIDE supports Intel's MCS(R)x96 microcontroller family by providing a complete development
tool for fuzzy logic applications. As a professional tool, FIDE allows developers to design,
debug and implement a fuzzy logic application on a PC. The output from FIDE can be
either C code or assembly code that can be embedded in the Intel microcontrollers for
various applications. Fide customers may find it useful for applications including, but are not limited to, fuzzy engine control and ABS for automotives, posture and orbit-position control in aerospace, fuzzy washing machine and dishwasher in home appliances, complex process control in petrochemistry, and data mining and forecast in finance.
FIDE is a complete environment for the development of fuzzy logic-based systems. It provides systems engineers with the most effective fuzzy tools in the industry. With FIDE, engineers can specify the fuzzy inference systems effectively using the proprietary, non-sequential language (FIL) and associated data structure. It allows users to take advantage of an open architecture environment that offers easy compatibility. FIDE matches the traditional loop of design, simulation and analysis, by providing a friendly and useful tool for each level of debugging including data tracing, analysis and simulation. With FIDE, engineers can design, simulate and perfect an entire dynamic system, including hardware, before building anything, thus avoiding costly errors in fabrication and assembly. FIDE's integrated tools provide an efficient environment to debug, analyze and simulate the behavior of a system. The time from conceptual design to testing and implementation can be reduced dramatically.
