MICRO/C-51*

MICRO/C-51* is our "C"-like Cross Compiler for Intel 8051 embedded controller applications. It supports all 8051 memory maps, direct access to bit and byte Special Function Registers by name, bit variables, recursion, register bank independent code, and interrupt driven "C" functions.
MICRO/C-51 supports 8051 and derivative microcontrollers from Intel Corporation. It is user configurable to support even the newest chips as they become available, and provides easy access to internal or external memory mapped hardware like A/D converters and I/O ports. The run-time library comes with complete source files and includes support for all interrupt devices. Sample source code provided includes Real-time Clock and interrupt driven Serial Communication handlers.
Software debugging support includes our Pinpoint* Error Diagnostics, run-time Stack Monitor and Exception Handled, Intel standard symbolic object files, and our optional Simulator/C Language Debugger. MICRO/C-51 can generate Intel Hex files ready for direct programming into internal or external ROM, or EPROM memory.
