HPÆs 1660 and HP 1670 series logic analyzers provide up to 500-K memory deep, 100 MHz state, and 500 MHz timing analysis in an affordable, portable logic analyzer. The MCS preprocessor inter-faces can be used with any of the HP 1660 and HP 1670 series logic analyzers. HP 1670 series logic analyzers provide memory depth of up to 500-K, which helps you isolate infrequently occurring problems to root cause. The HP 1660CS, HP 1661CS, and HP 1662CS models have built-in digitizing oscilloscopes that sample at 1 GSa/sec on both channels, showing you what your timing signals really look like.
The HP E2415B (for IntelÆs 8051 and 80251), and HP E2416B (for IntelÆs 80196) preprocessor interfaces allow you to easily connect the logic analyzer to your MCS based system. The preprocessors keep track of MCS controller address and when state traces are displayed data is aligned with correct address. An inverse assembler is included with the preprocessor that displays state listing in MCS microcontroller mnemonics.
