CEIBO MP-51 Programmer

CEIBO MP - 51 is an EPROM, Flash, PLD and Intel MCS « 51 and MCS 251 micro-controller programmer. This high performance instrument is user friendly and conveniently sized. MP-51 operates serially linked to a PC or compatible and carries out a set of powerful functions on the selected Intel device. The unit consists of the instrument itself and many adapters to handle the various available package types. MP-51 software uses a PC memory buffer where code is loaded from a disk or filled with the contents read from another device. The buffer may be saved on a disk file, parts of the buffer may be moved from one location to another, filled with a constant or modified by the user. The memory buffer can be displayed to find values or strings MP-51 loads different file formats: Intel Hex and Binary files, Object files and JEDEC files. It saves portions of memory in Intel, Binary and JEDEC formats.
Prior to programming a device, MP-51 checks that the installed adapter is correct for the selected device, checks that the device is totally erased, and runs a comparison test to ensure the contents of the device match those in the memory buffer. Address range may be specified for both operations. MP-51 allows the Intel micro-controllers security capabilities to be enabled or disabled, handles Lock Bits 1,2 & 3, and the Encryption Table available in Intel 80C51 and 80C251 microcontrollers. MP-51 commands are organized in pull-down menus and windows. This software is powerful yet extremely user friendly. The available functions include: Type, Blank Check, Security, Program, Load, Save, Read, View, Compare, Checksum, File, Move, Modify, Directory, Text File, Dump, Quit.
