Tool Description:

The Integrated Debugging System/LC (IDS/LC) is a low cost real-time emulator for firmware debugging and testing. It uses a windowed and menu driven user interface that allows keyboard and mouse commands. The IDS/LC can show all memory spaces of IntelÆs 8051 and 80251 microcontrollers: Internal, External, and Program. It shows a window of all the Special Function Registers (SFRs) by name and with bit names.
Support is provided for most C and PLM compilers. The IDS/LC will work equally well with assembly language programs. Our integrated environment provides editing and debugging. You can configure it to run your compiler and download your program automatically.
The Target Interface Unit (TIU) easily connects to your PCÆs parallel port. The TIU is small enough to be carried with a laptop computer.
