Tool Description:

Archimedes SimCASE debuggers support comprehensive high level language and assembly debug in real time and simulator based environments. The debuggers may be configured for 8051 or 251 debug depending on the application. Archimedes SimCASE software renders accurate simulation of the Intel 8051 and 251 architecture including timing. SFRÆs and I/O for insight into Intel 8051 and 251 microcontrollersÆ states as the software executes.
Debug functionality includes single step-ping, watch-points and breakpoints. Simulating I/O events such as external peripherals is handled via a user program-able language supplying the necessary input stimulus. Archimedes SimCASE debuggers may be used to debug small, medium, large and banked memory models.
Archimedes SimCASE debugger functionality is tightly integrated within Archimedes Windows based integrated development environment (IDE). This allows "point and click" access and control of the debugger feature set.
