Tool Description:

PILOT-U40 is a powerful and universal programmer which provides reliable support for programming of Intel micro-controllers and other programmable devices.
All package types are supported including; DIP, PLCC, PGA, QFP and TQFP. Package adapters are factory made, tested and guaranteed to work. This is different from many other programmers which may require use of third-party adapters.
PILOT-U40 is expandable to do parallel programming of eight devices at the same time with Advin supplied Gang Modules. Available Gang Modules at press time include those for DIP, PLCC and QFP.
PILOT-U40 is controlled by AdvinÆs fast and easy-to-use software operating on IBM PCs and compatibles. Since the PC-interface is through a standard parallel printer port, no PC slot is required. Therefore, you get the benefit of easy portability from one PC to another. You can also operate them from a notebook computer via its standard printer port.
The macro/batch facility allows users to collect frequently used commands in a macro file which can be submitted later for fully automated operations. This and other popular features make the programmer a time-saving instrument. In addition, they also shorten the training process for production personnel.
