PI-960KA/KB/MC Preprocessor

The Corelis model PI-960KA/KB/MC preprocessor provides an easy and accurate means of connecting the i960KA/KB/MC processor to an HP logic analyzer. The preprocessor is designed to be inserted into the users PGA socket on the target board, and the processor chip is then inserted into the preprocessor. The preprocessor includes mating connectors for the HP logic analyzer pods and is supplied with inverse assembler software for the logic analyzer.
The preprocessor contains active circuitry and latches the address, status, and data bus of the 960KA/KB/MC so that the address, status, and data can be seen by the logic analyzer at the same time. The preprocessor also generates logic analyzer clocks from the appropriate 80960KA/KB/MC microprocessor signals and bus conditions.
