SCOPE

This document provides drawings and dimensions for tray packing for all three of Intel's small outline package (SOP) offerings. The three SOP offerings are TSOP (Thin Small Outline Package), PSOP (Plastic Small Outline Package) and SSOP (Shrink Small Outline Package).

This document does not include any tape and reel information. Please refer to FaxBack document 2269 for tape and reel drawings and dimension tables.

INTRODUCTION

Intel ships SOP product in JEDEC standard dimension trays, tape and reel, and tubes (44L PSOP only).

All JEDEC standard trays have the same outside dimensions and thus are stackable for ease of storage and manufacturing. The device leads are kept from touching any part of the tray by design. SOP thick tray physical dimensions are illustrated in figures 1-1. and 1-2. and are detailed in table 1.1. SOP thin tray physical dimensions are illustrated in figures 1-3. and 1-4. and are detailed in table 1.2.

44-Lead PSOP tube physical dimensions are illustrated in figure 1-5.
