Vendor Information

Tool Description:

Intel's CMOS flash memory adds electrical chip-erasure and reprogramming to traditional EPROM technology. Programming adapters provide an easy, cost-effective way for embedded designers to take advantage of Intel's innovations. The PA32-32(Z) and PA32TSOP(R) programming adapters from Logical Systems let you program PLCC and TSOP parts on the DIP programmers you already own. The Intel Flash memory components supported are the 28F010, 28F001BX and 28F020. The PA32-32(Z) accepts the 32-pin flash device in PLCC package and plugs into a DIP programmer. It is available with either an auto-eject or lidded ZIF socket. The lidded ZIF socket is recommended for high-volume use. The PA32TSOP(R) accepts the 32-pin flash device in TSOP package and plugs into a DIP programmer. It is available in standard or reverse-pin configurations. The adapters are small enough to be used on a gang programmer and are modular, making the sockets and plugs easily replaceable if damage occurs.
