Tool Description:

These adapters enable programming of devices in packages other than DIP on programmers with a ZIF DIP socket. As programmers are expecting a DIP device, if the pin count in the other packages is different, adapters will provide the correct pin assignment. All programming adapters use wire-wrap pins (25-mil square) on DIP plugs. Adapters with Autoeject sockets are suitable for plastic parts only.

Tool Features:

High performance is achieved by short traces and small size

Reliability is achieved by rugged construction and use of gold plating on all contacts and pins

Most adapters are less than 900 mils wide so that every socket on gang programmers can be utilized

Sockets wider than 900 mils are rotated to achieve 900 mil width or staggered in dual adapters

Adapters are available for devices in PSOP, SSOP, TSOP and other surface mount packages

All programming adapters are stock items
