Data I/O's ProMaster 2500 is a fully integrated, automated system for handling, programming, testing, sorting, and labeling programmable devices. The first device-handling system in the industry to incorporate programming hardware within its design, the ProMaster 2500 reaches a new level of system integration, making operation simpler and more reliable than ever. Providing universal support for devices in 300- through 525-mil SOIC, PLCC packages up to 84 pins, and DIP packages up to 32 pins, the ProMaster 2500 programs, labels and sorts as many as 500 devices per hour. Its state-of-the-art pick-and-place handling technology minimized damage to delicate surface-mount devices for safe, high yield SMT production. Automated tube-to-tube processing also eliminates human error and device damage, and minimizes any electronic discharge (ESD) damage caused by human handling. A high-density dot matrix printer quickly prints and applies device labels in one swift and precise operation.
To ensure the highest quality programming results, the ProMaster 2500's advanced programming electronics are specially designed to minimize the distance between the pin drivers and the devices being programmed. Manufacturer-certified algorithms are also used for optimal reliability and yields.
