The BP-1400 has the ability to vector test the latest high-pin-count FPGAs, even 3V devices. The programming electronics are based on our BP-2200 Concurrent Programming System, so programming is speedy and reliable in a single-site unit. Advanced pin drivers incorporate sophisticated high-speed circuitry to deliver unparalleled programming and testing performance for all device technologies.
The BP-1400's pin drivers operate down to 2.7V so you'll be ready to program the full range of today's advanced low-voltage devices. Much like expensive IC testers, the BP-1400 uses high-speed bipolar analog pin drivers with microstrip transmission lines to deliver remarkable 800ps rise times at the programming socket without overshoot or ground bounce. This enables functional testing of today's fastest PLDs, including the latest 3ns devices.
The BP-1400 has 240 pin drivers standard. It's socket modules are designed to provide universal support for each package type. Socket modules are interchangeable to allow switching between device package types, and they're compatible with all BP Microsystems universal programmers. Each socket module provides 100% continuity test, verifying the electrical connection to each lead of the device before programming begins - a BP Microsystems exclusive feature that saves you time, frustration, and money.
The system includes a three-year warranty and free software updates eight times per year so you'll have access to the newest programmable devices. Available on disk, BBS, or on the Internet, you can update your programmer's entire set of algorithms by replacing just one file.
