Enplas TSOP type 1

ENPLAS' open-top TSOP Type I series of PROM programmer, test and burn-in sockets are produced with very high-precision injection molding techniques using high grade PEI plastics to withstand a temperature handling range of -55ĒC to 150ĒC. Programmer and test sockets must be robust to perform a wide range of electrical and functional verification of devices at different speeds and various temperatures.
Mechanically designed for zero insertion force device loading, the accurate lead placement and body alignment positions of these sockets ensure high reliability and positive electrical contact action. Contact pins are made with a highly reliable gold-plated beryllium-copper-nickel base material with repeatable actuation cycles up to 10,000 times. The contact tips ensure a reliable interface by engaging the package leads without damage. Open-top soft actuation design features ease of manual handling and/or automated loading and unloading of devices. Each socket type is compact in design with a minimum number of moving parts, which provides for easy handling and maintenance and improves density/positions in the board.
