Tool Description:

The STAG P301 provides programming support for up to 32-pin devices based on 8-bit data widths through a single wide-blade socket capable of accommodating 24-, 28- and 32-pin dual in-line packages with either 0.3 or 0.6 inch pitch. Device support includes flash memories, EPROMs, EEPROMs, serial EPROMs and CMOS PROMs.

The STAG P301 incorporates both pre- and post-program checks to ensure the device is properly located and correctly programmed. In addition to the standard verification checks, additional margined verification options are available to check correct programming at high and low Vcc.

Operational simplicity is where STAG P301 really scores. At a glance youŠll observe a simple, uncluttered keypad layout for ease of use, which is coupled to the interactive display to provide straightforward menu-driven operation. All functions are easily accessed without having to constantly reference a manual.

In addition to the IrDA interface which supports data communications up to 115,200 baud, the STAG P301 incorporates a 9-pin D-type RS232 serial interface supporting baud rates between 1,200 and 115,200.

The optional P311 rechargeable battery pack allows field use. Spare battery packs can be purchased to extend the units programming time away from an electrical supply.
