P803 (Flash Support)

The STAG P803 is the world¦s fastest gang/set programmer. A powerful 32-bit embedded RISC processor running at 24 MIPS provides a level of performance never before realized (e.g., eight 1-Mbit flash devices program in under 6 seconds).

Additionally, programming speed is enhanced by two features:
1. Skip - programmer bypasses empty locations.
2. Memory Mapping - non-used area of programmable device can be excluded from the program and erase field.

The STAG P803 supports eight sockets in gang or set mode. Device support includes flash memories, EPROMs, EEPROMs, serial EPROMs and microcontrollers.

The 20x4 back-lit LCD and 23-key pad combination are ergonomically designed to provide a user-friendly menu-driven system in standalone mode. An audible sound can be enabled to signify the end of a programming operation, and a large program key is ideally-positioned to allow easy start of the auto-programming sequence.

In remote mode, all functions of the programmer can be controlled via PC. Software is available to control the STAG P803 from DOS, Windows 3.x and Windows 95.

STAG P803 is also compatible with the Production Manager software. This simple-to-use Windows package allows an operator to select a user¦s own part number. The software will then select the correct device type and download the appropriate file automatically. The operator can then select from four functions: program, verify, checksum or empty check.
