Tool Description:

This multi-functional PC Card adapter provides a convenient, 3.5 inch drive bay, front access single socket solution. The PCMCIA drives allow you to access Type I, II and III PC Cards. Card detection, SRAM battery level lights and an on-board speaker for PC-Card modem support are included.
The SBI-D1 utilizes a half-size 16-bit AT/ISA bus controller board. The PCMCIA Socket and Card Services software provides automatic configuration, operation and Hot Swap. Hot swap is the capability to insert cards without having to reboot the machine or manually reconfigure the cards. The SwapFTL Flash Filing system driver enables full floppy disk or hard disk emulation on flash cards. It is compatible with all compression and PC-utility software. The SwapBox family of adapters works flawlessly with Intel's Flash memory cards.
Maximum data transfer rates with an MS-DOS* 3.3 operating system, including all system related delays.
