Based on an innovative design, the S_FTL enables fully FDD/HDD emulation using flash cards under DOS/Windows* or other operating system environments. More importantly, compatibility to all standard PC-utilities and compression software is fully maintained at the end user level.
The S_FTL enables seamless operation and data interchangeability of flash cards across a vast range of applications ranging from mobile computers to industrial control, to medical instruments and desktop computers.
Its small code size is ideally suited for memory limited applications and can be easily configured to work with all current standard implementations of Socket and Card Services.
With a comprehensive set of installation and formatting utilities, SCM brings easy-to-use full DOS compatibility to flash devices that promise to turn flash memory into a dominant silicon media for mass storage applications.
This flexible software comes in four different levels, all providing linear flash support. SwapFTL 2 and SwapFTL 4 also provide support for other memory technologies. In addition, SwapFTL 3 and SwapFTL 4 do not require any additional Card and Socket Services.
