Tool Description:

LFS Flash Media File Mananger. Uses PCMCIA-defined LFS (Linear File Store) spec for a linked-list type method of storing "Objects". For cards or a RFA/RFD. Includes iCARDRV1 source for reference.

Tool Features:

Intel developed code stores files and data contiguously using linked-list

Well suited for eXecute-In-Place (XIP) applications

LFS is a PCMCIA defined card partition structure

Can work AS the file manager or with an existing one and has an integrated flash media manager

Designed for low update frequency applications

Flash partition based architecture: -Uses a spare block per partition and -Clean-up occurs on the entire partion

Small code size (*14K of code)

Has High Performance edit capability

Robust power-off recovery and media clean-up

Source code license is Royalty-free and gives derivative rights when used with Intel Flash
