GS-110 Outback

Imagine full credit-card sized PC Card compatibility with your desktop PC by simply adding an interface card. Greystone Peripherals now offers the Outback CardDock internal reader/writer as our lowest-cost link between the desktop PC and mobile (laptop/notebook) computers using PCMCIA cards. The Outback allows the same PCMCIA cards used in notebook computers to be used with a desktop PC -- it offers total interchangeability of PC Cards for sharing of peripherals, updating and correcting files and modifying and loading software.
The Outback CardDock is a 16-bit interface board that installs in a standard ISA 16-bit expansion slot. Available in 1-slot or 2-slot versions, its low-profile design allows maximum airflow in both standard and smaller desktop PCs. Model GS-110 supports one Type I, II or III PC Card; Model GS-120 supports two Type I and II or one Type III PC Card.
Accessible from the back, the PC Card slot(s) mounted on the board accommodates PC Card Type I, II and III form factors and supports flash memory and I/O cards that are designed to PCMCIA standards. A full complement of software utilities manages system resources and provides easy to use on-screen menus.
With the Outback CardDock, desktop PC users can enjoy the plug-and-play benefits of using PC Cards. A PC Card, whether memory or I/O, can be used interchangeably by both mobile and desktop PCs as needed. Card Services and Socket Services seamlessly manage the auto-configuration of a PC Card as it is inserted and removed at any time.
